Usman Khan

Usman Khan is a Senior Applications Engineer at Cognito India, with over four years of experience in selecting and sizing rotating equipment for industrial sectors including chemical, specialty chemical, oil & gas, paint, refineries, and petrochemicals. He supports both global and domestic teams with technical trials, new application development, and techno-commercial guidance. Usman has played a pivotal role in positioning Cognito’s electric-operated double-diaphragm (EODD) pumps across India, regularly leading training sessions to empower channel partners and drive business performance. He also monitors Cognito blog activity on the IDEX India website, ensuring alignment with industry narratives and contributing success stories that highlight new application breakthroughs. Outside of his engineering role, Usman shares his passion for science, learning, and mentorship by teaching college-level physics in his free time.
